THE PEMBROKE CURLING CENTRE IS NOW CLOSED.
Results from the latest phone survey indicate that a majority of curlers are wanting to return to the ice in the fall. The Return to Play committee will be planning for a safe environment for members. More information will be forthcoming from the RTP committee now that a decision has been made.
CurlCanada released (July 6) their guidelines for returning to play. The guidelines are here in pdf format for you to read. CurlON has also produced Return to Play guidelines. Read them here in pdf format.
At the Board meeting on July 7, a committee was formed to plan and organize commencing play in the Fall based on the Curl Canada guidelines . They will be requesting member input and hoping for help in order to return to play safely.Here is the latest (July 10) message from Bill and Jane. If you did not get this message via email please let us know.
The Board has been having regular meetings and you can access the minutes once you login under Members' Home-OTHER-Board Minutes. The AGM originally scheduled for June has been cancelled and temporarily scheduled for a date in September. All fundraising activities have also been cancelled.

The PCC has received a Trillium Grant to help make the Centre accessible. Along with this there is a plan to upgrade the upstairs and downstairs lounges.They are looking for volunteers to help design and create a refreshing new look. Here is a document (pdf) with the details.

This is a new law concerning concussions that was enacted on July 1, 2019. All curlers 26 years and under must read a booklet and sign a confirmation that they have done so. This confirmation will be kept on file at the Pembroke Curling Centre for one year then it has to be renewed. Booklets and confirmation form can be found on our Youth page.
